BartPE: Building Spybot Search & Destroy Plugin

1. Download and install Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4

2. Download and upzip the plugin into your BartPE\plugin folder

3. Run Spybot S&D and download all the updates

Note: Make sure you download the TCP/IP plugin. It is needed with the new rule set starting on 2007-06-13 or else you will get an error with the include file Trojans.sbi Ref: Problems with Trojans.sbi

4. Copy the following files into BartPE\plugin\spybotsd\files\

C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\*.* (Everthing) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Configuration.ini C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\framedyn.dll

Note: framedyn.dll is needed if you are getting an framedyn.dll error. If you cannot locate the file, you can download it from DLL-files.com Download framedyn.dll Ref: Getting An Framedyn.dll Error. What Is This Application Has Failed to Start, Framedyn.dll Was Not Found

5. Add the following lines into BartPE\plugin\spybotsd\spybotsd.inf

[WinntDirectories] k="Programs\SpybotSD\Updates",2 l="Programs\SpybotSD\Plugins",2 [SourceDisksFiles] files\framedyn.dll=a,,1 files\configuration.ini=a,,1 files\Updates\*.*=k,,4 files\Plugins\*.*=l,,4

6. If you are using Sherpya's Windows XPE plugin, you can add the following line to create the start menu entry

[Software.AddReg] 0×2, "Sherpya\XPEinit\Programs", "Spybot - Search & Destroy\Spybot - Search & Destroy", "%SystemDrive%\Programs\SpybotSD\SpybotSD.exe"
